Monday 7/23

Today, I worked on captions for my Blairsville photos and made edits on my story. To fill up the extra time, I shared a few stories on social media and worked on my book review of The Seventeenth Generation The Lifework of Rabbi Walter Jacob By Eric Lidji.

Tuesday 7/24

I had the opportunity to write a standalone story about Starkist, Feed the Children and Focus Pittsburgh teaming up to stuff over 500 backpacks with school supplies, snacks and hygiene items for local children in need.

I also dug through social media and worked on my book review.

Wednesday 7/25

The interns had the chance to tour the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Clinton facility this morning, where the actual printing of the paper takes place.

I also sat down with Gary again to discuss the editing process of my Blairsville story.

Thursday 7/26

I started my day writing the daily Post-Gazette newsletter, “PG Feed.”

I worked with Meagen on my final evaluation of my internship today.

I also worked on my upcoming book review of The Seventeenth Generation The Lifework of Rabbi Walter Jacob By Eric Lidji.
